SportCares sets up fund to open up avenues to sport for the underprivileged
The S$12m fund will disburse grants to groups or individuals who create these opportunities

SPORTCARES, the philanthropic arm of national sports agency Sport Singapore, will set aside S$12 million to create opportunities and improve access to sporting programmes for those lacking such opportunities.
By 2023, the SportCares Communities of Care Fund will reach out to children, youth, seniors, those with disabilities or special needs by disbursing grants.
