Whisky Most Fowl
In the day, Original Chew Kee Eating House serves its famed soy sauce chicken. But at night, cocktails take over - at least until Aug 31 when Single Scotch malt whisky brand Auchentoshan turns the coffee shop into a bar as part of its campaign to celebrate city living.
The pop-up will showcase five new Auchentoshan cocktails - Kueh-so Nice, Otokichi Sour, Orchard Highball, Kelapa Sea, and Flowers by the Bay - to highlight how Auchentoshan is renowned for being triple-distilled to the last drop, making it an exceptionally smooth, easy-to-drink single malt that is just right for mixing and sharing. Not into cocktails? There are also Auchentoshan whisky flights - a dram of Auchentoshan 12 Years Old, Three Wood and 18 Years Old.
The Auchentoshan pop-up bar takes over Original Chew Kee Eating House, at 8 Upper Cross Street, runs every Wed to Sat, from 7pm to midnight, till Aug 31.
