Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.71 points to 1,657.38 at 9.02am.
Volume was 94.6 million lots worth RM39.1 million.
Gainers beat losers 144 to 48.
