Virtual Art
Love a piece of art but can't quite visualise how it will look in your home? Online art gallery, The Artling, takes the guesswork out with its new augmented reality (AR) feature.
Founder Talenia Phua says the feature lets clients see how the paintings work in their home beforehand, rather than go through the hassle of bringing the physical work to their house.
Clients have an extensive collection of artworks from over 2,500 artists to choose from. Simply pick an artwork, turn the camera on, so that the phone can capture an image of the floor and the wall, and then click on the screen to place the artwork. You even get to see the details of the art work up close with this feature.
