Pound's yo-yo causing headaches; DBS strategist urges defensive stance

THE see-sawing of the British pound as the fate of Brexit vacillates has been exasperating for both money changers and those in need of the physical currency.
Beside genuine shortages when sterling dived against the Singapore dollar, some money changers have also resorted to lying to customers that they have run out of pounds to avoid haggling with customers who refuse to accept the roller-coaster exchange rates.
