Mad For Matilda

West End hit Matilda The Musical is making its way here from next week. The Singapore season marks the first time it has travelled to Asia, after previously touring Australia and New Zealand from 2015 to 2017. Matilda The Musical swept a record-breaking seven Olivier awards in 2012 including Best New Musical and is inspired by the beloved Roald Dahl book of the same name. It follows the adventures of Matilda, a literature-loving five-year-old girl who learns to use her special powers to turn her life - as well as those around her - for the better. The show is one of the most successful British musicals of modern times and is into its seventh year on West End, where over eight million people have watched it.

Matilda The Musical will run at Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands from Feb 21 to Mar 17. Tickets from S$68 to S$792 (for four VIP Box seats) available from Sistic and at the venue's box office.
