Virtual Versailles
Tay Suan Chiang
For the first time, you can tour The Palace of Versailles without having to hop onto a plane. Virtually Versailles is the world's first exhibition that lets visitors experience the historical landmark entirely through digital assets.
Head back in time to the 17th century, to explore the Palace from its beginnings as a hunting lodge for King Louis XIII, to the historical site that marked the end of the First World War in
1919. See up close the collection of over 60,000 paintings, sculptures and works of art that make the Palace of Versailles the most expansive museum in the history of France, as well as the show-stopping grandeur of the five Palace rooms. This is also your only chance to hop on a bicycle and cycle through the Gardens of Versailles - virtually. That's because in the real world, cycling on the actual palace grounds is prohibited.
