SGX IPO value for 2018 plunges to second lowest since 2008: PwC
The 15 IPOs as at Dec 19 have raised S$730m, a sharp drop from S$4.7b that came from 20 listings in 2017

FUNDS raised in 2018 from initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) were the second-lowest in the last decade after 2015, according to a report published by PwC Singapore on Thursday.
PwC's 2018 Equity Capital Markets Watch review of Singapore found that as at Dec 19, the 15 IPOs in Singapore this year raised approximately S$730 million across three listings on the mainboard and 12 on the Catalist. This is a marked drop from 2017 where S$4.7 billion was raised from 20 IPOs, seven of which were on the mainboard and 13 on the Catalist.
