ST Engineering's marine unit may land contract valued over S$200m
THE marine arm of Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engg) is expected to land a contract in excess of S$200 million, possibly its most significant win this year for its yard in Singapore.
ST Engg put in the most competitive bid for the shipbuilding and maintenance contract with Singapore's Police Coast Guard, a GeBiz record showed. Its winning bid quoted in multi-currencies is said to exceed S$200 million.
The Business Times understands the contract involves the supply and delivery of at least a dozen patrol boats plus maintenance for a 15-year firm period.
