Malaysia: Shares close higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.75 points to 1,740.59.
Volume was 2.03 billion lots worth RM2.08 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 538 to 275.
