Van Cleef & Arpels introduces new bracelets to its signature Perlee collection
PARISIAN JEWELLER VAN CLEEF & ARPELS may be best known for its Alhambra designs, its stone-setting innovations and its association with iconic dancers and movie stars such George Balanchine, Grace Kelly and Elizabeth Taylor.
But its signature Perlee collection has also been very popular among jewellery lovers. Created in 2008, the collection is distinguished by the rows of small gold beads that edge its precious stones and motifs. Not only do they add sparkle to the stones, they also create a rich multi-dimensional effect that allow the pieces to be admired from all angles.
Van Cleef & Arpels has now introduced new bracelets to the line. The first three additions are the Perlee couleurs bracelets. These place diamonds and cabochons of hard stones opposite each other on an open shank, creating a sharp and contrasting effect that draws the eye.
