Ong Ye Kung lists 4 sources of tension facing education

THE choice between skills and degrees is actually a "false dilemma", Minister of Education Ong Ye Kung said on Wednesday.

Addressing an audience that comprised mostly economists at the Mandarin Orchard Singapore, he said the difficult question which should be asked instead is whether a degree is needed for a young person to do well in his or her career.
