WITH the deck cleared for Malaysia's investment fund Khazanah Nasional Berhad to see a new face at the hot seat to succeed Azman Mokhtar as chief, several names have emerged, which include Malaysian banker and chief executive of Deutsche Bank (Malaysia) Yusof Annuar Yaacob.
The Business Times understands that the 53-year old may in fact be one of the "leading candidates" for the top job at the sovereign wealth fund which last week witnessed an unprecedented development when its entire-nine member board including Mr Azman resigned, hastening a shake up at the state-backed fund.
