StarHub picks CEO after global hunt

A FORMER StarHub executive is returning to the fold as top dog, after almost two decades in various industry positions worldwide.
Peter Kaliaropoulos, 58, was named chief executive officer on Friday, and is slated to start on July 9. His appointment caps what the telco called a global search for a successor to Tan Tong Hai, who announced a surprise resignation in November. Mr Tan steps down on May 1.
