MAS orders Nets to address cause of two-hour disruption
All forms of cashless services provided by Nets disrupted in what is believed to be its first outage in decades

THE Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has instructed Nets to identify and address the root cause of its service disruption on Friday, as well as submit a thorough investigation report, which the central bank will review and take supervisory action, if needed.
For about two hours, all forms of cashless services provided by Nets were disrupted in what is believed to be its first outage in decades.
