Pottering about for a good cause

SIXTY United Overseas Bank (UOB) clients and employees spent an afternoon at the Jalan Bahar Clay Studios on Jan 19, where they rolled up their sleeves and moulded clay at the pottery wheel to fashion vases, pots and bowls, among other collectibles.
Guided by Teo Boon Gim, a ceramicist from The Clay People, the team learnt the basics of the art of pottery-making over four hours of pinching, coiling and wrestling with clay.
