Cooking Cause
You've heard of the Man Booker Prize, but how about the Man Cooker? Published by the Man Group, the investment management firm that sponsors the literary prize, Man Cooker is a charity cookbook in support of Room to Read, a global organisation focused on literacy and gender equality in education in low-income countries.
Man Cooker is a collection of 50 recipes submitted by the Man Group's employees around the world and a few guest contributions. The recipes represent different cuisines from all over the world, and are tailored for home cooks who are short on time or want to try something new. All proceeds from the sales of Man Cooker will go directly to Room to Read and will be matched by the Man Charitable Trust, doubling the total value of funds going to the charity.
Man Cooker retails for S$20. To buy, email mancooker@man.com.
