    OVER the years since golf's Singapore Open moved over to Sentosa Golf Club, the weather has constantly played havoc with the four-round proceedings.

    When Barclays Bank stepped in to revitalise the event after a three-year hiatus back in 2005, the incessant rain and lightning ended up stealing many precious hours of playing time.
