Analysts stress need for well-implemented fee guidelines for public

    THE success of the government-led initiative to set new benchmarks for doctors' fees lies in the crafting of the new guidelines, but analysts are unsure how much upside this can bring about for the Republic's ailing medical tourism sector.

    If well-crafted - and carried out well - the new yardsticks "can be a game changer", according to Jeremy Lim, a partner at management consulting firm Oliver Wyman Singapore.
