Let It Snow!
Dust off those skis and head out to Club Med's latest Asian playground in Tomamu, Japan, just 90 minutes away from New Chitose Airport. The resort is Club Med's second property in Hokkaido, after Sahoro.
Guests can look forward to 29 ski runs spanning over 20km for all levels, with slopes for kids (and cowardly adults). Instructors are on hand, whether you're trying to sharpen your skills or just trying not to fall. Non-skiers needn't feel left out, because the resort also offers mountain biking, trekking and sledding.
When the weather gets too cold, guests can just head over to Mina Mina Beach, Japan's largest indoor wave pool where the water stays at 30 degrees regardless of the weather outside.
