Migrant welfare group to triple volunteers by 2020

THE Migrant Workers' Centre in Singapore, backed by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the National Trades Union Congress and employers, hope to more than triple the number of volunteer ambassadors to shed greater light on problems this community faces.
Currently, there are 1,500 ambassadors who are part of a volunteer scheme that was set up by the MWC in 2013.
