SIA set to receive first Boeing 787-10 in 2018
SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) is expected to take delivery next year, the first in a series of Boeing's 787-10 Dreamliner airplanes.
Boeing said that it has rolled out the first 787-10 Dreamliner built for SIA, with delivery to the airline projected for the first half of 2018.
The new Dreamliner airplane will ply SIA's medium-haul routes.
Boeing added that SIA, as the launch customer for 787-10, has placed a firm order for 30 airplanes. The airline also signed a letter of intent in February to purchase 19 additional 787-10s.
