Europe: Stock markets rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Tuesday following gains across Asia and further record highs for Wall Street.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.4 per cent to 7,400.96 points compared with the close on Monday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index won 0.2 per cent to 12,147.89 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.5 per cent to 5,116.90.
