Tokyo warns that North Korea may have nuclear-strike capability

JAPAN'S Ministry of Defence on Tuesday suggested that it was "possible that North Korea has already achieved the miniaturisation of nuclear weapons and acquired nuclear warheads".
Floating this scenario amid a debate that has so far been based largely on speculation, the ministry said in its annual White Paper that security threats to Japan "have entered a new stage, considering North Korea's development of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles, as well as its enhancement of operational capabilities".
