HNA to convene general meeting on Sept 7 on CWT takeover offer
China-based HNA Holding Group is convening a general meeting on Sept 7 to seek shareholder approval for its S$1.4 billion privatisation offer for CWT Limited.
A notice of the general meeting and the proxy form are expected to be despatched to shareholders on or around Aug 21.
In April, HNA launched a general offer for Singapore-listed CWT at S$2.33 a share, valuing the homegrown logistics group at some S$1.4 billion in total.
In a release to the Singapore Exchange on Aug 21, HNA said that certain anti-trust pre-conditions had already been fulfilled.
