Hong Kong: Stocks end higher after Wall Street record

    [HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended slightly higher Wednesday after a see-saw day, with traders tracking a record close on Wall Street.

    The Hang Seng Index rose 0.09 per cent, or 23.80 points, to close at 25,875.90.

    The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.73 per cent, or 23.07 points, to 3,130.67. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, shed 0.38 per cent, or 7.09 points, to 1,852.79.
