Europe: Shares drop at open

[LONDON] Europe's major stock market indices declined at the open on Thursday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 sliding 0.4 per cent to 7,417.78 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index shed 0.1 per cent to 12,758.66 points, and the Paris CAC 40 dipped 0.3 per cent to 5,259.55 compared with Wednesday's closing level.
