Six HDB shopping malls have been upgraded for S$48m
SIX HDB shopping complexes have been upgraded at a cost of some S$48 million as at June this year.
The latest one to get a new lease of life was Loyang Point Shopping Complex in Pasir Ris with works completed last December.
In a statement, the Housing & Development Board (HDB) said that it adopts a comprehensive approach in the planning of HDB towns where each town is planned with a wide range of facilities, including commercial shops and shopping complexes, to serve the daily needs of residents.
There are 21 HDB shopping complexes island-wide.
HDB shopping complexes have been progressively upgraded over the years to maintain their vibrancy and relevance to the community.
