First-time buyers on Affordable Art Fair's radar

THE Affordable Art Fair (AAF) appeals to first-time buyers and new art collectors and it continues to keep that demographic in mind as it enters its eighth year.

Last year's spring edition saw 22 per cent of visitors buying their first art piece at the Fair, says Alan Koh, the Fair's director. This was based on a survey of about 1,000 visitors to the fair in April last year.

AAF started holding two fairs a year in Singapore from 2014, along with New York and London. AAF operates in 10 countries.
