Malaysia: Shares open slightly higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices open slightly higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.980 points to 1767.780.
Volume was 294.03 million lots worth RM117.88 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 239 to 85.
