Hong Kong: Stocks start day with gains

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks started the week with a small gain Monday following a better-than-forecast jobs report from the United States last week that indicated the world's top economy continuing to improve.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.13 per cent, or 29.58 points, to 23,598.25.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.10 per cent, or 3.31 points, to 3,209.45 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, inched 0.05 per cent, or 0.95 points, down to 2,012.69.
