Car, motorbike COE premiums spike
CERTIFICATE of entitlement (COE) premiums for passenger cars and motorcycles rose, with only that for goods vehicles slipping.
In the first bidding exercise of March, Category A - for cars below 1,600 cc or 130 hp - increased S$1,359 to S$50,789, while Cat B - for cars above 1,600 cc and 130 hp - jumped S$2,679 to S$53,300.
Cat E - the open category which currently tracks Cat B - climbed S$2,001 to S$53,001.
Cat D - for motorcycles - was up S$682 to S$7,483 but Cat C - for goods vehicles - fell S$808 to S$49,002.
