If you're a chef age 30 and below, and have at least a year of restaurant experience, then you could be the next San Pellegrino Young Chef award winner. Previous contestants include Kirk Westaway, who represented South-East Asia in the 2015 finals and is now chef de cuisine of JAAN. This year's applicants must submit a signature dish via the website sanpellegrino.com by April 30. Shortlisted chefs will be selected by June. The South-East Asia challenge will take place in the third quarter of this year, before finalists from each region are paired with a mentor for the grand finals in Milan in 2018.
