Hong Kong: Shares rise at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose slightly in the first few minutes of trade Monday, while shares in China opened slightly lower as the yuan weakened.
The Hang Seng Index was up 0.27 per cent, or 64.6 points, to 24,098.34.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was 0.10 per cent lower, or 3.12 points, at 3,198.96, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, inched 0.04 per cent down, or 0.82 points, to 1,944.29.
