Will anger be the dominant emotion?

FINANCIAL markets run mainly on greed and fear but judging by Britain's decision to leave the European Union (EU) and Donald Trump's US election victory, it was anger that drove a large part of the Western world's electorate in 2016.
Whether it was anger over loss of jobs and/or rampant and unwelcome immigration, an angry, defiant and resounding rejection of the status quo was the defining feature of the global political landscape last year.
With general elections in France and Germany this year, will anger again drive voters?
