RISK allocation - it is the one factor in the equation that can determine whether an infrastructure project takes off or not, Standard Chartered's Asean & South Asia CEO Ajay Kanwal believes.
Speaking to The Business Times on the sidelines of the inaugural Bloomberg Nation Builders Asia Summit, the banking veteran said he does not think funding is a problem for infrastructure; there is enough institutional money waiting on the sidelines to get into infrastructure finance because of the potential long-term sustainable returns.
