Hong Kong: Stocks open down on Clinton worries
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks sank on opening on Monday with traders spooked by news the FBI was again looking into market favourite Hillary Clinton's emails, fuelling fears about her chances of winning next week's presidential election.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.78 per cent, or 178.93 points to 22,775.88.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.23 per cent, or 7.08 points, to 3,097.19, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.28 per cent, or 5.75 points, to 2,046.27.
