Hong Kong: Stocks build on Wall Street rally
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks were up Monday morning after another strong lead from Wall Street where a strong US jobs report lifted markets to fresh records.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.57 per cent, or 127.29 points, to 22,273.38.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.14 per cent, or 4.08 points, to 2,972.62, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slid 0.30 per cent, or 5.78 points, to 1,935.83.
