Singapore Airlines' (SIA) senior vice-president (finance) Stephen Barnes is on medical leave of absence for about one month, SIA said in a release to the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.
This is pending the doctors' review of his condition.
In his absence, his duties are being covered by divisional vice-president (finance) Chia Siok Hua.
"Mr Barnes is currently recuperating at home following a period of hospitalisation," SIA said. "The board extends its best wishes to Mr Barnes for a speedy recovery."
