Malaysia: Stocks close higher on Monday

Malaysian shares closed higher on Monday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 8.62 points to 1,654.840.
Some 1 billion lots, valued at RM1.22 billion were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 363 to 338.
