China Environment unit wins six million yuan hybrid dust collector contract
INDUSTRIAL waste gas treatment specialist China Environment has secured a contract worth six million yuan (S$1.2 million) to supply four hybrid dust collectors to stainless steel firm Tsingshan Holding Group.
Hybrid dust collectors are a combination of electrostatic precipitator - a device that removes suspended dust particles by applying a high-voltage charge - and filter dust collector.
The contract, won by its wholly owned subsidiary Anhui Dongyuan Environmental Protection Co Ltd, is expected to be completed by the second half of next year, and contribute positively to the group's earnings for the current and next financial year, it said.
