Singapore food producers pool resources to go regional

THE next time you set foot in a supermarket when you are travelling within the region, do not be surprised if you spot Singapore-made food products from home-grown brands lining the shelves.
Singapore food products have, traditionally, not been easily found in supermarkets in Asia as companies face high entry costs and difficulty in product registration, trade agency IE Singapore said on Wednesday.
