Singapore IPOs of certain size get better deal than in US: study

COMPANIES of a certain size are able to raise more capital on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) compared to the US, as the offer price here is typically discounted to a smaller extent, according to a study by an Australian university.
But while a boon for companies looking to list in Singapore, analysts say it also presents the flip side for investors: there is less value to be gained from buying these initial public offerings (IPOs).
