Gold most active ETF in early June
Singapore
GOLD was the most active exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the first two weeks of June, reflecting investor risk aversion following the US Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) dovish comments and ahead of the contentious Brexit referendum.
According to the Singapore Exchange, the SPDR Gold Shares ETF was the most active ETF in June month-to-date (MTD), with turnover almost doubling to S$33.7 million, from S$17.45 million in the same period a year ago.
