THE Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) will launch a programme to dispense financial and legal advice to Bukit Batok residents who need it, should its secretary-general Chee Soon Juan win the by-election there on May 7.
Announced at a press conference at the opposition party's headquarters in Ang Mo Kio, this is part of the party's planned "We Are One, We Are Bukit Batok" social programme for the single-member constituency.
