Dow futures' rebound trims STI loss
Regional markets end mostly weaker on the back of a sharp fall in oil prices following the weekend's failed oil talks in Doha
THE failure of the weekend's talks in Doha to limit the supply of oil brought the sellers out and gave traders an excuse to go short on Monday.
The Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 6.19 points to end at 2,917.75.
Turnover was a low 927 million units worth S$815 million; excluding warrants, there were 169 rises versus 244 falls.
