Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks gain at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks gained 0.82 per cent in early trade Monday, extending last week's rally on global markets after the European Central Bank announced massive stimulus measures.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index added 165.66 points to 20,365.26 in the first minutes of trade.
In Shanghai, the composite index edged up 0.76 per cent, or 21.31 points, to 20,831.61, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 1.49 per cent, or 139.83 points, to 9,503.23.
