EU-Asean Open Skies could start taking shape by 2017

A BASIC framework for EU-Asean Open Skies could come together as early as 2017, with the European Commission poised to receive the mandate to start formal negotiations with Asean in the next few months.
"I think we can move very quickly after we get the mandate," European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc told BT in an interview, adding that next year would be an attractive goal to work towards.
