Venture returns to Q4 profit in absence of year-ago impairment

VENTURE Corp swung into a net profit of S$44.8 million in the fourth quarter without having to bear the year-ago burden of an impairment loss on an associate.
For the three months ended December, earnings per share was 16.2 Singapore cents. Full-year net profit doubled to S$154.0 million, or 55.8 Singapore cents per share.
