Malaysia: Shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.87 points to 1664.84.
Volume was 50.1 million lots worth RM20.6 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 132 to 54.
